Theatre is a survey course designed to introduce major topics concerning theatre: theatre history, improvisation, costuming, movement, and various other specialty topics.
Malvern Theatre Society
Extracurricular
The extracurricular Malvern Theatre Society hosts opportunities for students from Malvern Prep, Villa Maria Academy, and Notre Dame Academy to participate in acting, musical theatre, set construction, lighting, and sound. Malvern Theatre Society produces two mainstage shows each year: a play in the fall, and a musical in the spring.
New York City Trips
The Arts Department sponsors two annual student trips to New York City to see theatre productions on Broadway.
